"TOY PROTOTYPE!"

Yay! Here's DINK ---The Prototypes are ready... ahhhh - I think the Krylon fumes have officially made me sane (oh no!). Anywho - The damn things are in production, so I can show you what's going on at last!

Most people thought I have reclused into a bar, drinking Poor mans black velvets at the Chalet until 2am, (which is occasionally true) or have changed my line of work and became a circus performer, (which is also sometimes true.) But nay, I was making toys, like a good little elf should do. This toys name is "Dink." There is a whole Dink army arriving from China within' the next couple months, and More are on the way. This is my main 8" figure that will be out at comic-con this July, via Level 5 / Mindstyle. Both mine and sissy's toys are up on the VINYL PULSE blog today... so check it out!

Books Ready for Pre-Order!

Yup! they're here, Artist Sisters: Box of Stories (which contains 2 books, one by me, "Teenie Weenie Tales", and one by sister pants, "Princess La La and the Little Bee") are ready for pre-order on Amazon. Whaaaaa? For those of you who have been going to shows, and saying, "Hey Man, you and your sissy's freakin' limited edition box set is goddam expensive!" Nows the time to get the regular 30.00 set, on deal at Amazon before they are officially distributed to wherever they're going... ( don't I sound promising? he he.)
Next up - is my Sassy Paperdoll Book, which is also available for presale - but has a later delivery date than July. . . . . STILL - They have a kick-ass deal on This book as well, for pre-order. Thanks everybody for your support- whew!

'Nucleus Benefit Show'

C/mon out for a good cause! - The show will be up until the end of the month... The reception is on May 19th from 7-11pm, I heard to get there early, since most of the Art is $100 Bucks, and 20% of the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure a great foundation to help cure breast cancer! Please see the Nucleus website for more information on Power In Numbers.

"Books,Toys, & Shows...."

Here's some recent projects I've been finishing up... The top lil' art peices are for a extreme-o limited edition book set of 12- which are recessed onto clam-shell boxes (It looks pretty neat-o cuz all the fabrics are different colors, and some even have the texture of my granpas old pants!) Then there's the Wooden box, limited edition sets.. pictured at top - which have an artist sisters logo burned into it! - - - -THEN, there's a limited edition where I put my grandma in the box, and she makes you cookies and then reads the goddam things to you! he he... I'm just kidding, about the wooden set. that's ridiculous.

Anyway, The bottom line...is that there are limited edition sets availiable at gallery revisited.

My sister and I will have regular book sets availiable at comic-con this year. . . and (I'm so sorry for the confusion) The basic book set can be bought online in August (That's our distributor release time as far as we know.)

Lots of the crap we've been working on - will be at comic-con. . . Our Level 5 toy sets, my 2 new pixie dolls ,and our books.... If you can't find me, I'll be under the table drinking Bushmills!

Also... My sister and I will be in a show in Arizona - this coming August with Lesley Reppeteaux & Shaunna Peterson. August 4th is the reception... if any of ya'll want to go and check out a neat new gallery called THE WIND-UP Gallery, we'll keep you informed!

'Bad Music'

This weekend is a silly-fun show... at American Electric Tattoo -about 'Bad Music' - I've got a piece in the show (above, 'The Bad Music Nymph'), and am real excited to show at this parlour... Firstly and lastly, cuz an old pal of mine Dominic Di Julio works there and invited me to be apart of it! His art is so nutty good, and the guys that work at the shop are a talented bunch ( no erasers folks! my oh my whatta steady hand)... so if you feel like getting a tattoo this weekend - you may wanna come before the artists start drinking - - -

Before you visit the group show... don't forget to go to Gallery Revisited down the Street. It closes at 6pm.....Mine and my sisters show is still up until the 5th of May - so, those of you who didn't make it, and are sick and tired of me bringing up the damn show - Go and see it or you can just go online and check it out -and call me and say... "Oh yes, There are dolls in your show... I really enjoyed the dolls.. and that other doll... But I didn't like that doll."

"Art Show to be on TV!"

YeeeHaw! - a TV blurb! - It will be on this coming Monday, April 9th, channel 4, at 3pm. I'm not quite sure what Mr. TV is going to say, but remember, the tube never lies! - he he he.... anyway, Here's a couple more photos of 'Miette' and 'Penny Star Jr.' at the Arts show - photos courtesy of Carla Russing.

'Secret Lives of Dolls' Reception!

BIG 'ol Honkin' Post! Here's some photo's from the show reception on Saturday. . . Thank you SO much to Everyone who came out and supported us lil' Artist Sisters. The show is doing great - and arts flyin' of the walls! Our new Books are out, & are sittin' pretty in special limited edition wood boxes for the show. . . If you didn't get to come to the show, It will be up until May. I have also posted a video clip below (it's my first time posting clips, so bear w/ me!) for those that missed the reception..... so hold a glass of vino - eat some warm cheese, and pretend we are all trying to figure out what the hell my sis and I were trying to portray.. (In very large words of course!) he he he....

Neat Press. . . .Vinyl Pulse gave us a HUGE shout out w/ some nice things to say about our toy lines coming out this summer... thanks guys!

Art Show - Sat. the 24th at Gallery Revisited!

All Red-Eyed and and paintin'........ the artist sisters put on their disco ball to get out aggressions later that evening and blast Patsy Cline & Elastica to keep awake - - - - - - - - - -lots 'o' Last minute touches & assembling this fine St. Patty's Day... and CJ's birthday is tomorrow! We hope you will join us for our Art Show Sat. March 24th from 6-10pm,
