Toy & Show News.....

Thanks everybody - - -The Limited Edition Pre-Release "DINK" is sold out at 3DRetro..., but is available at Cardboard Spaceship , Munky KING & our current gallery show at the Wind Up Gallery (they had a few in their store.... so, send 'em an email if you wanna nab one!)

ALSO: to answer some ?'s about Dink...
Q: "How the hell does she stand?"
A: She has ball and socket joint wings... so she stands like a tripod. You can also make her fly around - or pull them out and throw them at your little sister.
Q: "When's the color version coming out?"
A: In September I heard, DKE is the distribution company.. and they sell to many of the local toy stores. yay!
Q: "How come I don't see wings on the picture above?"
A: That particular Dink is the resin prototype I painted awhile back...
(She couldn't get her wings yet.. he he he he) - The vinyl you buy in the stores - will include wings like in the picture below.

Q: "What does Dink enjoy the most?"
A: Neil Diamond, John Denver, old reruns of Columbo & watching David Bowies pants in Labyrinth.
Q: "What doesn't she like?... so I don't get beat up by my new Pixie."
A: Wet party hats, fake Cheetos and complicated eating schedules.

'Mermaid Show'

So lately I've felt like I want to dive into the ocean and swim to Japan. luckily, this show came along, so I can hop in my bike an ride down to see all the mermaids... there's something so carefree about 'em, it just makes me want to be one...
- the last painting of the mer-fairy isn't in the show... I actually just finished it... but thought it suited the post... so eveyone, have a good day - and when things get crazy in your world, just
pretend your a mermaid, (especially the boys) and all your co-workers will think you're nuts and leave you alone.
for more info regarding the show, see: The Cactus Gallery

"TOY PROTOTYPE!"

Yay! Here's DINK ---The Prototypes are ready... ahhhh - I think the Krylon fumes have officially made me sane (oh no!). Anywho - The damn things are in production, so I can show you what's going on at last!
Most people thought I have reclused into a bar, drinking Poor mans black velvets at the Chalet until 2am, (which is occasionally true) or have changed my line of work and became a circus performer, (which is also sometimes true.) But nay, I was making toys, like a good little elf should do. This toys name is "Dink." There is a whole Dink army arriving from China within' the next couple months, and More are on the way. This is my main 8" figure that will be out at comic-con this July, via Level 5 / Mindstyle. Both mine and sissy's toys are up on the VINYL PULSE blog today... so check it out!
