and the crazy meticulous process it is...

Extra Fun: Thinking Of Summer...Hula Time Tattoo!
 I don't post commissions all the time, but this one was so much fun - and reminded me of the days I wanted to be a tattoo artist. I also worked with Hard Rock café designing waitress, and hard-core rock pins for awhile-- so chances are- if you have a collectible pin from like, 10 years ago- It may be mine! Muwahaha! - I'm everywhere. kind of.

Little 'Doodle' fun:

Well, I got carried away... ;) I was asked by a fellow vinyl artist Evilos to contribute to a very fun doodle series for his vinylmation blind bags.... and here they are! I don't do these that often, and wanted to show some love to the vinyl community for all the support they've given me over the last year.. Thanks guys! - enjoy your finds... all these guys are gone already- sorry!

Good Vs. Evil - New Vinyl customs and Sculptures

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be apart of the next show at WonderGround Gallery
this Saturday,  Dec. 15^th  I’ll be attending the Grand Opening that morning from 9-11am to chat, sign prints n’ artwork, and talk shop about my work…. I hope to see you there!

will be at the Walt Disney World, Florida 'Festival of the Masters'event at Downtown Disney This Weekend! Walt Disney World Resort has hosted this event since 1975,
and I'm excited to be apart of it & show you my latest Vinylmation customs-

A continuing series, from last years D23.... ( Remember the Red Queen and White Rabbit?) - Welp, now it's The White Queen, Flower's and Mr. Caterpillar's turn! They will be on display this coming weekend, so stop by and say hello to my art for me if yer in Florida!
I was graciously invited to go down and sign with these lil' guys, but am soooooo filled to the gills making art for an amazing show at Wonderground in Dec., that I can't leave my studio... Yeep!

Ok, so I look really Creepy here... Just in time for Halloween! ....Even though 'Bluey' released at last months Mickey's Circus Event at Epcot Center in Florida...I think I was channeling my inner 'Spook' already... ;)

 

The Finished Turn



I ADORE the Pink Elephants Sequence in Dumbo... ( and I 've heard from a ton of ya'll that feel the same!) It was part of the reason I wanted to be a character artist  - That, and old betty boop cartoons...what a spunky broad!



Oh I get carried away with the packaging... but it so fun to just go nuts on it- after doing so much detail work!

My original turn - 'Bluey' - all sketched out---



Ahhh, My favorite part- and the most challenging! Painting the dancing Elephants soooo teenie Tiny!
They later were set on miniature steel springs inside 'Bluey's' Tummy to create movement like they're dancing....

This was my favorite part of The Haunted Mansion as a kid....
The Trick was getting this scene to read in a Vinyl! Tricky indeed to squeeze this little lady into the tummy area---
 It was  like getting a ship in a bottle. I need smaller hands. ;)

Oh again - getting carried away with the boxes! - gotta have purple right?

So many processes to this one! I think it was one of my most complicated fabrications to date.
I learned how to cast in clear resin ( flames) -
To vacuform a custom plastic bubble for the belly,
and just over all sculpting more than I had on any of my previous art pieces.
